Wilderness First Aid Tuition Reimbursement Program

THE PROGRAM WILL APPLY TO YOUR INITIAL COURSE COST ONLY. ANY RECERTIFICATION WILL BE YOUR RESPONSIBILITY.

The Executive Board of the Forty-Sixers is offering partial reimbursement (up to $100 per person) for the tuition cost associated with initially completing and passing the Wilderness First Aid course. Through this effort, the Forty-Sixers hope to encourage more hikers to become better prepared to meet wilderness emergencies that occur on the trail.

To be elibible for the reimbursement, one of the following criteria must be met:

  • The individual is a recorded, dues current member of the Forty-Sixers.
  • The individual is registered, dues current, as an “Aspiring Forty-Sixer.”
  • The individual has completed the Forty-Sixer “Outdoor Skills Workshop.”

If you meet one of the criteria above and have completed an approved Wilderness First Aid course (or equivalent), send a copy of your course completion certificate, receipt of payment, and letter of request to:
